How to use

Lutris can be used to launch games from GOG, Steam, or just run Windows executables

Lutris GUI

When you launch Lutris:

  • You can hit "+" to add games

  • You can conofigure global settings for each runners

  • You can double click on added games/executables to launch them

Add game opttion in Lutris

When you hit "+", you can:

  • Add games from Lutris website (Install scripts)

  • Install game using it's .exe installer

  • Install from YAML script (downloaded from Lutris)

  • Import ROM

  • and Add locally installed game

Add locally installed game window

If you want to add locally installed game, make sure you select the runner first, then you can start configuring whatever options you have in this window

I usually don't touch or leave the Runner options default, unless a specific game require some changes to it (e.g Plutonium, a CoD Multiplayer lobby client)

After all that, you can pretty just start launching your game from the Lutris library
