VTubing Softwares

This page lists software that you can use to start VTubing on Linux. You don't need all of them, just install what you mostly need. This also serve as a index page for the software listed below

Before Installing Software

It's generally a good idea to update your system first before installing these software, lowering the chance of getting error related to missing dependencies. Please refer to Installing your Software page for Update/Upgrade instruction based on your system

Alternative Software

Some apps that you use in Windows might have a Linux version of it. Some are just straight up not available in Linux, thus you need an alternative to it. I will only list some that are mostly useful, for other apps, I recommend you to visit Alternativeto.net

It's recommended to check your Distro Package Manager first and see if the app is available there.

If not, I recommend checking Flatpak version or check in Flathub.

If Flatpak is not available, then check for AppImage.

And lastly if AppImage is not an option, check for installable Linux file like .deb (not recommended method for Arch based distro)
